Carolyn Conlee has earned degrees from Drexel University, University of Tokyo, University of California and the University of Hawaii. Becoming an geo-technical specialist fueled her desire to improve the state of the world. Toward that end, she has traveled to earthquake ravaged Haiti, Bangladesh, Japan, and Turkey to aid them in restoring and repairing their countries. During her interactions with the populace and country leaders she experienced how to solve real world problems by using not just knowledge but 21st Century Skills and social responsibility.
Dr. Conlee brought these understandings back to her students by teaching them how to develop self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. Dr. Conlee has infused these lessons in our rich curriculums, online learning tools, and professional development sessions. Crediting her success both academically and socially to a mastery of not just technology but English Language Arts, she points out, “All learning begins with reading, and writing is proof that you can think. Once you have mastered these skills, you can change the world by being guided by social responsibility. These are the guiding principles of Clements Education.
